How did you get into physical therapy?

I’ve wanted to be in physical therapy since I was 13, I began working in a clinic as a tech my first year in college.

What excites you about what you do?

Seeing someone’s pain or disability improve. Seeing PT change their quality of life and create new healthy habits. Seeing patients get back to what they love doing and what makes them “them”, and smashing some goals along the way are pretty cool to see too.

Why did you decide to work at M1 Movement & Therapy?

Besides getting to hang out with Ben, I am excited about helping CrossFitters and other athletes with a more specialized treatment. To help these athletes correct faulty mechanics and muscle weaknesses to improve performance, quality of life and simply just move better. There’s more to treatment than just doing leg-raises! And I’m excited about being a part of a team of helping people smash their personal goals.

Do you have a favorite quote or motto?

Short term pain, long term gain.

What is your go-to pre- or post-workout meal?

Since I’m an early A.M. CrossFitter, I usually pass on the pre-meal. But I do love some Gnarly protein or eggs/bacon post workout and some AdvoCare Catalyst.

Who is your favorite sports team?

Any Memphis or Arizona teams (except U of A). We are Arizona Cardinal season ticket holders too.

What do you like most about living in Arizona?

The cooler weather when my AC bill isn’t so high, and not having to run outside in the freezing cold! Its pretty cool how you can go about five hours and be somewhere completely different either direction too.

What do you like to do on your free time?

I have kids, who has free time? I like CrossFitting, movies, traveling and hanging out with family/friends.
