Why Did You Become A Physical Therapist?

I have always been interested in how the body moves. Being an athlete in high school and college, I worked with physical therapists and athletic trainers a lot. I loved what they did and found a job where I could help people daily.

What Excites You About What You Do?

I love seeing people make progress. It is so rewarding to see someone feel better after something you helped them with. Physical therapy is one of the few professions where we are happy when you don't have to see us anymore for an injury. It means we did our job right!

What Are Your Areas Of Interest?

I'm very interested in working with athletes. I love analyzing movement to improve performance. It's really cool to be able to fix one small aspect of movement but see a huge change in performance. I'm also very interested in all aspects of manual therapy including deep tissue, manipulation, cupping, dry needling, and more.

Why Did You Decide To Work At M1 Movement & Therapy?

I’ve known Ben since college and we both joined CrossFit Blade around the same time.  We both had the same dream to integrate physical therapy and CrossFit. M1 Movement & Therapy allows me to work with a long time friend and fulfill my dream. :)

Do You Have A Favorite Motivational Quote Or Motto?

It’s hard to choose just one motivational quote as my favorite! My favorite motto may be “Work for a cause, not for applause; Live life to express, not to impress; don’t strive to make your presence noticed, make your absence felt"

What Hobbies Do You Have?

CrossFit, coaching, gymnastics, and hanging out with friends and family or cuddling my baby!

What Is Your Favorite Pre- Or Post-Workout Meal?

A pre-workout Spark and maybe an apple and a post-workout meal replacement shake! Maybe some sushi if I’m really hungry! mmmmm!
